Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(Heb 6:18) “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” “City of Refuge”: we’ve fled to this hope (expectant embracing), the gospel of our redemption from sin and the death we deserve. Who did we kill? Ourselves, then Jesus in our place. We run to and are put in the very One we killed, the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ!
