(Heb 6:18) “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” “Who have fled for refuge”: a direct reference to the Old Testament Law of placing three cities for a person to flee when they were accidently responsible for the death of another. Our “city” is a Person, God’s Son, Christ Jesus.
