(1Ti 1:18) “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;” Believers have wrongly concluded that “love” is not offending others. “Love” is speaking the truth in a right manner. That is because Satan influences the heart of man to rebel against their God. It is warfare. No, not warfare against individuals per se, but against spiritual forces (Eph 6). If you are truly saved, you are in it, like it or not. Be sure to ready yourself, lest you fall. All you need is offered you in Ephesians Chapter 6. Fight a good warfare!

DAILY DROP OF WATER
1Ti 1:17) “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” The word “glory” here is not referring to His display of glory, but to the praise due His Person. Strange that we very seldom hear, except when asked in church for “testimonies”, God given public praise. I seldom hear people discussing how good the Lord was to them that week, or answered prayer, or simply speaking of what a wonderful God we have. Brethren, I think we are failing in this matter – myself included.
THIRSTING SOULS BIBLE SERMONS: “The Two Roads to Joy”
There is a difference between joy and happiness. God’s desire is for you to have joy and there are two ways along this life’s road to God’s joy.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
1Ti 1:17) “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Have we forgotten that our lives should honor the Lord in obedience to His Word? Consider these Words: (Mal 1:6) “A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? (7) Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.” When we put ourselves before consistent, faithful church attendance, are we not failing to honor Him? When we cling to His tithe, are we not failing to honor Him? When we put what we think in any given circumstance over His Word, are we not failing to honor Him? God help us to honor Him as He demands!

DAILY DROP OF WATER
1Ti 1:17) “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Our God is not only wise but wishes to give wisdom to those who will wholly follow His Word. I say this, for the Bible proclaims, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Ps 111:10; Prov 1:7; Prov 9:10). What is wisdom? It is insight into the reason God made decisions and the ability to see those results. Wisdom is the God given direction to make right decisions and the insight to see what the result will be of a decision, or decisions, both our own or that of others.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
1Ti 1:17) “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Our God is “immortal”; the “im” cancels out the word, “mortal”. There is nothing upon this earth that can be likened unto Him. To do so, as stated in Romans Chapter One, is to defile His Person. That is why we are never to make an image or representation of God. The next word states it, “invisible”. This is why we are to never judge God’s actions by what we would or would not do. If you wish to know Him and what He is like, read the Bible. Don’t guess. Don’t imagine. If you are not willing to search the pages of the Word of Truth, then you don’t really desire to know Him as He is in reality!
DAILY DROP OF WATER
1Ti 1:17) “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” “Eternal”, without beginning or end. Who created “time”? It was God when He created the sun and the moon. Before that, there was no time. God exists outside of time, therefore it is always “now”. That’s why the Bible says of the saved Child of God, we are sitting in the heavenlies (Eph). Well, as long as we are in “time” we need to give it back through our service to God Who made it. Live for His glory!
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Ti 1:17) “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” The “King”: acknowledging His right to rule over me. We oftentimes give “lip-service” to our King, all the while doing what our fallen nature thinks is right to do. We call Him “Lord”, and yet put what He thinks and says secondary to our true “lord” – ourselves. God help us to confess this asking His forgiveness and try harder to live under His authority.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Ti 1:16) “Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.” Is not language from God? Then God is capable of saying what He means to say. The Gift of God is Life Everlasting. If it was something given that could cease, He would have said, “life”. To loose one’s salvation would be to lose “life”. One cannot lose that which is everlasting. Praise His Name! Christ saves sinners!
