(Heb 3:13) “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”  Why does it say to do so “today”, moreso “daily”? Answer: The heart (v.12) “hardens” by its association with sin. It tricks us through our old nature of pride into thinking we can handle it. Faithful honesty is needed today while it can be countered.
