Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(Heb 2:10) “For it became Him, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the Captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”  “Became Him”: suitable, proper, right to do.  Holiness demands sin be punished. The degree of God for sin is death – period: (Eze_18:20) “The soul that sinneth, it shall die”; (Rom_6:23) “For the wages of sin is death;…”  Jesus’ perfection was capped off with this offering of love; to die in our place: (2Co_5:21) “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
