No, they were given according to the will of our Sovereign God. Some wax bold thinking they can command or direct God to do this or that. Wrong. He has a purpose and will far beyond our ability to understand. Our instruction is, (Jas_4:15) “For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.”
