Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(Romans 10:10) “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  The heart is very much a part of the salvation experience. This is why you cannot “assembly line” salvation as in a Day of Confirmation. The heart responds to the realization Jesus suffered and died because of “me”. A decision of heart is made to turn away from self’s desire to sin; that embracing Jesus is worth it (that is called repentance). The Lord sees the heart and responds by giving forgiveness and the gift of everlasting life.
