Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(1Th 2:19)  “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? (20)  For ye are our glory and joy.”  I draw your attention to the fact of the focus of Paul – not self’s growth, self’s walk with God. When the Lord comes for us at the Rapture, Paul’s glory and joy will not be in himself, but in others he has brought to Christ. How different than how we think today! We speak of  how much we have grown in the Lord. Our focus is all wrong.
