No doctrine of the Bible thrills my soul more than that of the Security of the Believer, that we are saved through Jesus Christ, atoned ONLY by His blood. In other Words, a person is saved only by and because of, Jesus plus NOTHING on our part. (1Co 1:7) “So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: (8) Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Amen; yes, it is Saving Faith that, vested solely in the Blood of Christ, leads us into Eternal communion with Almighty God – but this Faith is indeed the Gracious Gift of God. There must never, in our walk amongst the unsaved, be one iota of self-worth in the matter of our salvation – all worth is centered in one thing only: the Mercy of God.
