Why give us the genealogy? Why did the Jews keep a genealogy? Why are there two different genealogies for Joseph? Is there anything of significance in either?

Before the announcement of the child, John the Baptist, by an angel to Zacharias, the Word was with God. He already existed before the impregnation of Mary. This study is focused upon Jesus as the Word of God.

This study continues to look at some of the many prophecies foretold in the Old Testament regarding the Lord Jesus’ life, His work, and the betrayal of His Person. I think you will find it informative.

Our study begins to look at some of the Old Testament prophecies concerning the birth and life of the Lord Jesus Christ. Their fulfillment is seen not only in the gospels but also throughout the New Testament. Parts 1 and 2 are a prelude of the many overlooked passages waiting to be brought out during our two year study of the Life of Christ. 

Was the Lord Jesus one of the prophets? Can He rightly be called a prophet? Why start a study of the Life of Christ Jesus with a study of the prophets? All of these and more will be answered as we start this two or more year journey together.
