There are two representatives of the human race for all of time. One is the first man, Adam, whose choices brought spiritual death to mankind accompanied by a fallen sin nature. The second man is from Heaven, the Lord Jesus, called the Second Adam. He bought an opportunity for spiritual life.

This lesson’s purpose is to explore with the Believer the matter of salvation: what the Lord has done and why He did it. It looks at the two main reasons one needs to be saved. It also takes a look at Old Testament pictures of salvation.

This lesson addresses the Lord’s balance of His nature – holiness and love – that prompted Him to seek a way to both rightly judge the sinner and yet save His soul.
