DAILY DROP OF WATER

(1Co 4:7) “For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” Any spiritual good or work comes from and is empowered by God the Holy Spirit. Pride in such will hinder that work. Instead, we should be humbled our Holy God would use such a defiled vessel as self.

DAILY DROP OF WATER

(1Co 2:9) “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (10)  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”  Verse 9 is most often quoted without verse 10. This is done so to keep the mystery of it. But they HAVE been revealed to the saved in the Word of God through the Holy Spirit.

DAILY DROP OF WATER

(1 Cor 1:8) “Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Are we in reality “blameless” in our everyday walk with God? No, I am sad to say, “no”. Positionally, we are blameless; practically we battle with sin, seeking His forgiveness.

DAILY DROP OF WATER

(Rom 15:7) “Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.”  The saved are once again called upon to live as Jesus lived. He was not surrounded by perfect people, or even by those who put Him first. Yet He bestowed His love and guidance upon them. That is to be you and me towards other brothers and sisters in Christ.
