THIRSTING SOULS BIBLE STUDY: 1 Peter Study #19
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(2Co 7:9) “Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.” “…that ye might [not, “nothing”] receive damage…”: means there are spiritual and possibly physical judgments from ungodly actions among the local church. The sad thing: if one is ignorant of the Scriptures, they many times don’t even realize that judgment has fallen – but it has. Example: the quails, (Psa_106:15) “And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.”
THIRSTING SOULS BIBLE STUDY: Life of Christ Lesson 21 “John, Elijah, or Both”
THIRSTING SOULS BIBLE STUDY: 1 Peter Study 18
There is a love of which the lost do not have the ability to manifest. The Born-again Child of God can do so, though it is not a manifestation of their own hearts. It is a love that comes from God Himself when we allow Him to do it through us. This lesson demonstrates what it is and how it is that we can manifest it.
THIRSTING SOULS BIBLE STUDY: Life of Christ Lesson #20 “Temptations” Part Three
Satan is once again seen in this study seeking the fall of the man Christ Jesus. He continued to use what had been a tried and true method against man for some four thousand years. In this study we see him come at Jesus from a new direction. The Lord’s understanding of God’s Word is worth careful observation found in the study before us.
THIRSTING SOULS BIBLE STUDY: 1 Peter Study #17
The subject before us as we finish up the Third Chapter and begin the Fourth, is suffering, or enduring for Christ. We look at some interesting and oft misinterpreted text, so I think this study will not only be interesting but informative.
Thirsting Souls Bible Study: 1 Peter Study #16
There is a type of love that does not come naturally because of the existing old nature within us. Yet, it can be manifest through yielding to the Holy Spirit that lives within every Born Again Child of God. In this study we look at this closely and demonstrate at least two compelling reasons for doing so.
THIRSTINGS SOULS BIBLE STUDY: Life of Christ Lesson #19 “Temptations” Part Two
The different avenues of temptation by Satan are discussed in this study. We will see as our Lord is brought face to face not only with the Devil, but also with two of these avenues.
THIRSTINGS SOULS BIBLE STUDY: Life of Christ Lesson #18 “Temptations” Part One
Why did Jesus go into the wilderness? Why did He need to face the Devil? What does the Devil look like? Each of these questions will be answered in this study.
