In this study we begin to look at some of the Old Testament prophecies regarding the gospel. We also take the time to look at one of Pastor Holcomb’s pet peeves.

The Book of Romans is filled with doctrinal teaching. Join us for what will be an interesting series. For example, have you ever wondered if Matthias was truly the twelfth apostle? We answer this question in this study.

We spend time during this study seeking a foundation for proper Bible interpretation. We look at the two different ways the Scriptures are to be viewed: that would be first, from God’s perspective; and secondly, from God’s perspective.  

The Lord gives us instructions on what not to do, then says such that do them have in inheritance in heaven. Is He saying, “If you commit these you don’t go?” We answer this and many more. 

At this point the chapter definitely gets down to how we live, meaning, how we should live. We take the time to discuss the various things presented to us.

This lesson was full of discussion from the power of Satan over the lost, to the need to program our minds so our old man (old nature) no longer reigns. We also spoke of the Biblical fact that Jesus teaches the saved if they will allow Him.
