This sermon focuses upon another chapter of Peter’s life. Yet, as always, it more-so focuses  upon the actions of the Lord Jesus who meets every need in the life of His followers. 

Text: Gospel of John Chapter One  “I find often those who criticize the disciple Peter for his various failures. Yet, the Lord from the very beginning saw in Peter someone He could and would use greatly. Today we see the evidences of this truth.

Text: 1 John  This Book is written so that the soul might know if it is saved or not. Attention is drawn the relationship of salvation, the Holy Spirit’s role, and the difference between one who says they are saved and those who are genuinely saved.  

Lost man sits in darkness, many times by choice. Yes, he is born that way, but when the gospel is offered he would rather turn to his own reasoning than listen to the testimony of God’s children. Man longs to cling to the sins of darkness, when just reasoning would lead us to conclude that God would never say hold to that which My Son had to suffer for on the cross.

There are questions we are asked of God: questions that must be answered first of all regarding our soul’s condition. Secondly, questions regarding the status of our fellowship with God as our Father.

There are many miracles surrounding the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. We take the time to observe of few of them.  

Put in Christ Jesus upon the Salvation experience, His righteousness has become my righteousness, His Sonship brings me into adoption, His Fellowship with the Father allows my communion with my Father. Once God’s son, always God’s son.

In this sermon we take the time to look at the various ways individuals both heard and responded to the witness regarding the Lord Jesus as the Christ!

Today we look closely at the events leading to that Last Supper with His disciples. We are to take the time to view such things to “remember”.

In this Book we see the need of the Grace of God in our lives every day. Rejoice that we have been so blessed as to be able to continue to grow in the things of God!  A paradox is revealed to us in this sermon.
