The relationship of a parent with child was given us for spiritual understanding of the Lord’s love for mankind. In this sermon, we will see this truth as the Lord Jesus reveals it.
Faith and Grace are so often misunderstood in our day and time. Faith is from us Godward; grace is from God towards us. Faith is simply trusting God and acting upon that trust. Grace is given based upon purely the love and mercy of God. We do not merit it in any way.
We so often wrongly accuse God of being cruel, especially when we are confronted with the sufferings of a child, or….ourselves.
He Who does not think and therefore act as we would, sent His Son to die for your sins. Our God is Light and dwells in the light. We are in darkness. Come out of it to Him!
God has a plan for His creation. Men bear certain responsibilities and so do women. We will each be held responsible for how we have responded to His plan for us.
We, the saved, belong to the Lord in every way. We then, should desire to glorify Him in His institution of marriage.
At the basic desire to be saved is a prompting of heart to “love Him back”.
I believe God’s people do not praise Him enough. Even when we meet in church on Sunday mornings and sing, that is not praise if…….
I believe the Words of Genesis Chapter 1 only describes a twenty-four hour period, ‘The evening and the morning were the first day” etc.. And…..the Second Person of the Trinity is the One carrying out what is said, “Let the….and it was so.”
