(1Co 1:10) “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”  Don’t misunderstand these verses: unity at the expense of doctrine is sin in the sight of God. God’s Word (not “Church” Doctrine) is to be followed. Man’s old nature has a tendency to corrupt God’s Word, even when it is well intentioned. Follow God’s Word!

The Bible says, (Amo_3:3) “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Love and devotion to the Lord come before the same to any church or pastor. It is He Who saved us and we are to live unto Him.

Studies reveal a person speaks ten times more about something bad than something good. The reputation of the effect of the born again experience is destroyed through disgruntled believers.

(1Co 1:9) “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Notice the fellowship is with Jesus Christ. The only way to salvation, the only way to everlasting life, the only way to fellowship is through the Son: “For there is none other Name under heaven, given among men whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12

(1Co 1:9) “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”  In order to fellowship with God, He said you must become spirit (Jn 3) which indicates we are such naturally. Sin brought its death through Adam. Jesus died paying for your sins. He gives spiritual life to those who have a heart to turn away from sin, asking forgiveness.

(1Co 1:9) “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”  True Christianity is a real, walking, talking relationship with Almighty God. It is seeking to please Him in thought as well as deed. This can only succeed by being obedient to His Bible.

(1Co 1:7) “So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: (8) Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  This church (the Born Again) had problems that would rob them of their power and testimony. Yet, this did not rob them of the saving grace that keeps their soul to the end.

(1Co 1:6) “Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: (7)  So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:” The Corinthian Church was full of problems. Lack of spirituality does not come from a lack of power or enduement from above, but from not walking in the spirit.

1Co 1:5  “That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; (6)  Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:” The evidence of truly being born again is  in this love for the Word (knowledge) and the giving forth of it (utterance).

1 Co 1:5  That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;  This is something enjoyed by each church that subjects themselves to the Lord’s guidance. He desires them have the blessings that come with knowledge of His Word.
