(1Co 13:7) “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” God’s love in us prompts us to trust Him fully, completely, in all situations. It is sacrificial and thus says, “Whatever You have for me I count as right and willing endure it for You.” “Endureth all things”

DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:7) “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” “Hopeth”: to expect through trust in another. Unlike how we use the word today, as a desire that may or may not come true, this speaks of expectation, looking for the fulfillment of a promise. So, God’s love prompts us to trust Him. We look to the fulfillment of all that He has said!
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:7) “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” “Believeth all things”. I often hear various speakers state that “Paul said”, or “Ezekiel said”. That is inaccurate. Men speaking for the Lord did so under influence of the Holy Spirit (2 Pet 1:21). Therefore, God said. Speaking so diminishes the authority and trust of God’s Word in the minds of those listening. We can without question “believe all things”.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:7) “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” “Believeth all things”; not as one that is gullible, believing everything reported in the news. No, believing every Word the Lord has said. God’s love inside us bring with it a unshakable trust in His desire to speak unto us; its importance, so its preservation.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:7) “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” The Holy Spirit’s love motivates us to right thinking (through the Scriptures) before God. We belong to Him (1 Cor 6:20). Anything that comes our way is in His hands. If suffering will glorify Him; we suffer. If selfless labor will glorify Him; we labor. God’s love beareth all things.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:6) “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;” Lies are of the devil (John 8:44). The Holy Spirit is God and never lies. He loves truth. Therefore loving through us, we would only love the truth and hate all that is opposed to pleasing our Holy God.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:6) “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;” Does the Word of God, the Bible, the Scriptures, thrill your soul? The test of whether the love we demonstrate is God’s love is whether that love extends to the meat of the things of God.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:5) [charity: Godly love] “Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;” “Thinketh no evil”: God’s love looks out for the good of others rather than consider harmful thoughts towards them. When people harm us in some way, the tendency is to hope God’s judgment upon them. Rather, we are to ask the Lord to help us pray for our enemies.
DAILY DROP OF WATER
(1Co 13:5) [charity: Godly love] “Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;” “Is not easily provoked”: is not quick to respond wrongly. We respond to people in kind because of our love for self. How dare they! Sacrificial love bears the provoking and prays for the individual.

(1Co 13:5) [charity: Godly love] “Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;” “Seeketh not her own”: puts others first, (Php_2:4) “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”
