(2Co 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. (10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” Consider each of those things listed. They each require a person look up, pray, and then wait for the Lord to act. It’s not to say the person sits and does nothing. But the purpose is to keep one walking with and dependent upon the Lord – His power, ability, and not our own.
