Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(2Co 8:9) “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” Of course the message here is plain: give to others as  your Lord gave to you: “Do unto others…”.  Moreso, giving for such a need is a demonstration of true faith: (Jas 2:16) “And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? (17) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
