Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(1Co 13:4) “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,”   “Envy”: moved with a burning toward another; jealousy. The fact that “burning” is stated reveals there’s a negative emotion involved. On the other hand, God’s love desires the best for others, putting others before self. Therefore they rejoice when others succeed or are lifted up in some way.
