1Co 1:4  I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;  The truly saved have come to God begging forgiveness, for they know their sin was responsible for Jesus’ crucifixion. “Grace”, unmerited favor, is given in salvation.
