(Rom 12:12) “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”  The question would be, “hope” of what? “Hope”: an expectation of a sure coming event. That’s Bible “hope”. So, answer: hope of the promises of God taking place and thus – joy!
