(Rom 7:6) “ But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” There is a beautiful verse that speaks to “….serve[ing] in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter”: (1Jn 5:3) “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” This is the result of a “saved” heart!
