Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

  (2Ti 3:10) “But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering,…”  “Longsuffering”: patient endurance of hardship, injuries, or offense; forbearance.  In the next verse the Holy Spirit leads Paul to give us insight into the application of this word, for Paul suffered persecution for the gospel. Think: we withhold our tongues from speaking to others about the Lord lest they get angry with us. Their soul and devotion to God was worth it to Paul.
