Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

 (1Ti 2:1) “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (2)  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”  The desire in obedience to God in all things is firstly for something that should go without saying, “God’s glory”. Secondly, we obey that the end result might be “a quiet and peaceable life”. Yet, this does not mean “peace at any price”; that is, however you can achieve it, do it. To disobey the Scripture at any level or for any reason is not to possess “godliness and honesty”. Whether it be easy or hard, obey the Word of God.
