Thirsting Souls Bible Teaching

(2Th 1:11)  “Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:”  “That God would count you worthy of this calling….” In Christian “talk” we use “calling” for the ministry – ministers. That is not what is being said here. Firstly, it is the Lord that reaches down and calls the lost to Himself. The Bible says “there is none that seeked God; no, not one.” (Rom 3:11)  So, each of the saved were first called. “Worthy”: have you sought to be worthy – worth it?
